Submitted on : 28 May 2005
PherlMove is the latest addition to the Phperl Family. It is a small package that consists of Apache, PHP & MySQL only. it runs one site and is extremely useful when you want to get a PHP-MySQL server working within seconds. It uses PHP5, MySQL4.1.8 and Apache 1.3.x. it can run on any Windows Paltform (9x & NT based) and is ideal for users who just want to test minor scripts or to install on a friend's/client's machine to show your PHP-MySQL application.
Information on getting PhperlMove can be found in the Downloads section.

Phperl3.0.1 is released

After Liverpool's unforgettable victory in the Champions League (which I call the greatest night of my life) sleep was something that completely eluded me so I put that to good use & finished Phperl 3.0.1. You can download it from the downloads section. Note this is just an alpha version.
Phperl3.0.1 has many new features most importantly support for Virtual Hosts has been added. The Control Panel is totally remotely accessible & of course the Control Panel is re-designed. The release was actually supposed to be Phperl2.3.3 where I had made multiple changes including adding multilingual support however I decided to built it from ground up again.
Hope you enjoy using this release & please contact us with any bug reports (This is an alpha & has not been tested on too many computers, your feedback is always valued).

We're Back

After being away for almost two years due to various personal reasons (I wont bore you with the details but let me just say it wasn't really a fun ride!) I found the time & will to re-awaken Phperl from its dormant state. I should be releasing the latest version of Phperl very soon (about a week). Let me take this opportunity to thank all the people who have appreciated the product. There have also been those who have not taken to it & expressed their opinions vocally and that has helped me improve the project. I hope you like the new Phperl.
